Howard Johnson Hotel - Lake George

People at staff very friendly. They make you feel like you just came home.

Great location and satisfactory in every way for this type of hotel.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone because there are better hotels which my friends who stayed at Quality INN in Lake George, which offer breakfast included and still the price was much lower at Quality INN then the Howard Johnson. ...read more

We stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and it was very nice - seems very run down now.

The big plus was the location. Very close to the main strip in Lake George, but far enough where you could rest quietly. The bathroom was really nice; the room could have used some easy upgrading, like painting and new wall paper. But it was okay. The beds were comfortable and the television had cable TV. The breakfast at the Tiki Restaurant was a good deal and tasty. Although the staff, at the front desk, were not friendly or helpful in suggesting places to visit, you really don't need them because you can figure it out yourself by going into the village.
